Yes Vince. If you're becoming a GOLD LIFETIME supporting member of Team Camaro paying the one time and done payment of $59.95 you can use any major credit card or debit card by following the link to PayPal then at the PayPal login screen click the Pay using Debit or Credit card link at the bottom.

At that point PayPal is just acting as a credit card processor for us as an on-line merchant. You do NOT need a PayPal account to make a one time purchase with any merchant using PayPal merchant services, but if you do have a PayPal account it conveniently keeps all your transactions in one location for tax purposes.

If you are looking to become a PREMIUM supporting member of Team Camaro electing to pay $19.95 a year reoccurring every year then there is no other choice than PayPal at this point in time since this is an auto-billing system to renew your membership each year. The rules and regulations for storing and protecting credit/debit card information are daunting these days and best left to the professionals in that industry and PayPal is one of the - if not the largest - outside of the um er lets call it the Adult Entertainment monthly billing folks.

So another reason why going GOLD is the best over all option!

And don't be scared off by the "27" year expiration date, I for one intend to be around longer than that. It is just a number the system needs to calculate your lifetime membership. If you reach your 27th year it just adds another 27 years to the end date.

You can go into your PayPal account and cancel any subscription with an automatic renewal before it is paid....

Re: Membership Payment

The fine print when you sign up for 1 year is that you’re agreeing to auto renew.

So to avoid it you have to cancel it in you PayPal account settings under “preapproved payment.

I suggest everybody take a look at their pre approved payment list regularly as this practice is quite common. You may be surprised at what you pre approved and didn’t know it.
