Profile Pic

My fellow TC member 69camarofast has a pic of his car he wants in his profile. Tried walking him through it, but no luck. So I tried the same with my profile, and using his pic. Wouldnt work either. Said not a valid gif, jpg, png file that was trying to be uploaded. Not trying to upload the pic, just the URL. Its a jpg file, hosted, and in the file size range.

Is there a hiccup there? Ive tried several of my own hosted jpg files in the size range, and they dont work either.

So if any of the mods/admns can help him out, heres the link and pic:

Re: Profile Pic

Hi Dave, the only thing I can see is the hosting site might be blocking it from displaying. Sounds odd since it is displayed in this post... The size and res are within the limits so that's not it. Chris should try the upload option from his own PC and see if that works.

If you need a fresh copy of the pic I have the orig off Mark's camara from last weekend. It's even posted in the showroom under '69s. The file size there is too large though for the profile pic...

Re: Profile Pic

I believe the photo has to be uploaded FROM your own computer. The program seems to have trouble grabbing an image from somewhere else on the internet via an address.

just save the picture to your computer, then upload to your profile. thats should work if the image is the right size.
