Unhappy Help!

I own a 1989 Camaro V8. (Bought it new) Runs great.

I am trying to find a part for it. But this gal does not know what the part is called...........stop laughing!

It is the part that is under the door (on the floor) it is half inside and continues out side the car. The length of the door. Like a running board thingie! I could search for the part, if I knew what it is called.
It crumbled when I got too close to a large boulder!!

Question Re: Help!

Are you talking about the Rocker Panel Extension that is part of the GM Ground Effects trim ???
Any of the major Camaro aftermarket suppliers should have that. Try The link to "Ground Up' at the upper right of this page.
Or is this a Metal Moulding ??? The Dealer should still have those - should be in the Group 8.304 Mouldings Dealer could search by year/model.

Oh - Welcome to Team Camaro
We mostly mess around with the older models - but , the 3rd and 4th Gens are making some inroads with the car folks.

Hope this helps;
John

It is fiber glass......it crumbled.

Thanks for the "Welcome" John. I'm sure I will be back to ask some more Blonde questions

Re: Help!

The GM part numbers were 10141403 left and 10141402 right. These are not good numbers on gmpartsdirect.com, so they are probably discontinued. May have to go used or see if the 1992 version is a different part number and still available.
