Question on Criminal's Advertisement Here.

Since the trim tag guy was crucified I was wondering how the members and management of this site felt about actual/factual criminal behaviour being condoned by or through this site. I was searching the web for a webpage or website for an advertiser on Team Camaro and stumbled across the conviction records. Interesting.

There's not enough information in your post for me at least to reply.

Mike - '68 Camaro - aftermarket or modern pretty much everything.

Re: Question on Criminal's Advertisement Here.

Chuck you should PM Al with the info you have... What you have provided is vague and I thank you for that. My own personal feeling is it depends on the nature of the criminal record and even then I'd want to know more if it were my decision to make. Again since it's Al's site, PM him and let his wisdom govern...

Re: Question on Criminal's Advertisement Here.

Bah, that's nothing. Sounds like he got charged with selling something without the proper licensing. Not really "criminal" enough to not want to buy from him in my opinion (if he's since licensed to sell now at least).

"unlicensed sales activities"?
Perhaps the state of tennessee has a problem with someone having more than one used car for sale at a time, but why would Camaros.net?

"Civil penalties" are, by definition, not criminal matters. The only thing your post got me wondering about was your motivation in posting in the first place.

Re: Question on Criminal's Advertisement Here.

I guess I was overly concerned about the integrity of this site.
Dennis, yes bonehead of me, however post #4 was not posted immediately prior to and while forming my post reply, apology to you if necessary. As an experienced litigator myself, I would not fret over the possibility of such an action.
JimM, for integrity of the site.
kz1000ltd, kinda 3rd gradeish reply isn't it.
Mkelcy, I repeat integrity of the site.
So in retrospect, some think selling a trim tag is not ok and violating a state statute is. Ok, condition noted.
bgood, Chuck

I think you're over-simplifying opinions. If I got a citation from the City of Dallas, for having a garage sale without a permit, would you not buy a car I had for sale listed on ebay from me?

Edit: The point is, we don't know what the citation was for, and it doesn't "appear" it was criminal in any way. If we start making assumptions on what it was really for, you know where that goes. Benefit of the doubt and innocent until proven guilty comes to mind. You should be very familiar with those terms in your field. Without more information, I will reserve judgement, and since I doubt I'll get that info, I'll give him the benefit of that doubt.

Re: Question on Criminal's Advertisement Here.

You're questioning the integrity of Team Camaro? A web site?
What's your agenda Chuck? Sounds like a beef that goes deeper than just some small web sites place on the Internet to me.

Do you have some constructive criticism you'd like to impart to us, or are you just worried about Team Camaro and are sincerely looking out for it's welfare? Personally, I appreciate your concern Chuck, and would like you to know that everything is being done to make Team Camaro perfect in every members eyes.
Thank you!

Wow, it took me until at least my 100th post to start being a jerk, you've been able to do it at 8 posts flat - thats gotta be a record -
While I have upset a few on here for what I've said, I try to take advice from the moderators, I wonder what your motive is, regardless of what time Dennis posted his remarks - but thankfully, there are folks out there scanning the internet for integrity issues - might want to check our girls gone wild, I'd guess they have gotten an ear full from you by now. sarcasm intended.
