Camaro registry

Hope this is in the right section. Is there a registry where we can register our cars and VINs so someone can check and maybe get some of these engines and trannys back to their rightful cars? We all see a lot of parts for sale locally and I would like to be able to notify people where their origional parts are.

Re: Camaro registry

There isnt a registry of sorts here but the TAG section is where VIN's and other numbers are checked out. Then when someone 'searches' that section they might hit a number that matches up. The CRG Camaros Research Group might be another option since they track all available info. on camaros for history and research purposes but their data base is not public. They might be able to tell you if a certain VIN is of record there and try to match up parts that way. Just an idea for you.

Re: Camaro registry

CRG started an orphan section on the CRG forum "to attempt to re-connect loose documentation and VIN-stamped drivetrain components with their original vehicles".
