Stolen Alert questions.

Hi Guys.

A member at NastyZ28 had his garage broken into and lost a good deal of stuff (engine, new brakes, etc.); he estimates well over $10k in items.

First, would something like that be eligible for the Stolen Alert? We were thinking that this stuff will appear on ebay, and guys on all these sites are all over ebay all the time.

Second, I think Stolen Alert crosses sites suchs as Team Chevelle (I assume there is some common ownership there). Is that someting we could adapt/integrate at NastyZ28 and maybe some other sites? It seems the more the eyes the better. I think it would be better for the enthusiast community as a whole rather than if each site had its own small deal. Just a thought.

Mucho thanks, Scott-

Scott from NJ. Stay thirsty, my friends

Re: Stolen Alert questions.

Yes, it's something that can go in the stolen alert.

have him go to:
https://www.camaros.net/alert.html and fill in the form.

The stolen alert is now available for any site to use if they want.
we now have a syndication program that provides code that will display the stolen alert on any web page. Once an alert comes in it will display on all the sites that use it.

I just haven't decided the best way to promote it. eg: by request or open to anyone.
