Early 67 chrome headliner side trim clips ?

Hi Folks,

I have an early 67 Dec 66 manufacture) and it has the nice chrome strips to the side of the headliner over the rear side windows and doors.

This trim was scuffed and showing its age so I took it out and straightened it all and buffed it all up to a brilliant shine.

Only problem is that it had been glued on in the past and there were only a couple of the clips left.

Is it possible to buy these clips from an aftermarket supplier or are they as hard to find as I suspect ?

I have done a good look of all the usual vendors and the online catalogues are coming up with nothing.

Also, were there 3 per side originally ?

6, I have none ! the picture I posted is one from another car, I have put that back again now.

In fact the other car only had 2 on the side I looked at so in an ideal world I would find a supplier for 7 !

I bought some that were close from restoration specialities. They were for a chevelle and were a little bit taller but I trimmed them to fit my molding. I might still have a few extras, Iíll check when I get home from work.

Re: Early 67 chrome headliner side trim clips ?

Thanks you guys, The clips will be heading my way on the 8th of March in my friend from CA's pocket !

I will see him a day or so later so the trim can finally go back in properly.

This car is getting closer to me actually using it again soon, you know what its like, I only took it off the road to sort the engine but ended up doing loads of other stuff while it was in the garage.
