Deluxe Touring seats

Anyone have any reviews on these seats?? I was thinking about replacing my TMI sport foam (comfortweave) seats.

I didn’t install them yet lol There was a previous thread on here about how “soft” the TMI sport foam seats where. I just came across these and started rethinking my seat choice.

Re: Deluxe Touring seats

I dont know what TMI’s are like but based on the pic you attached i would want to try them first. I have found that seats that are soft under my butt cheeks and somewhat stiffer forward affect my legs unless i tilt them front. The one in the pic looks like an extreme case of that. My kids BMW’s with that forward leg support are the worst.

I like the look of the seat other than the headrest. It looks like an afterthought. My TMI are OK. Not great, not bad. They are a better ride than my originals. They do sit up a little higher, and make you closer to the steering wheel. The bolsters are not hard. More for looks. The harder the bolster, the harder it is for this old guy to get in and out. I have a tilt wheel, and still needed to extend the seat back.

My TMI SS are plenty firm. Too much hearsay, why not try them out for yourself, especially since you already have them.

Cool Re: Deluxe Touring seats

I have the DI seats, like them a lot! They are procar rally’s with another cover on them. Mine took about 6-8 weeks to get them. I have the blue 68 deluxe ones and I know a couple of other people that have them. They are a good deal for the price. Contact member workn24/7 (Jeff), he has the comfort weave version. Here is a picture of mine.

Chris... Never saw the interior of your car... looks great. What pattern is that cover on DI's page? What did you do with the back seat covers? And what door panels are those? Lordy... it'd be so easy if I had black interior, so many different great take-out seats flying around CL and eB. If I keep my white interior I'm kinda limited unless I win the lottery and have seats custom covered.-Mike
