This maybe a no brainer but is the TMI 2 pice headliner much easier yo install than the regular headliner with the bows?

I think the answer depends on your skill set. I have done both. The TMI is a little easier but not significantly so imho.

Re: 1 piece headliner vs conventional headkuner

If you are tall go with the TMI for a little more headroom. Beyond that go with the style you prefer. Thereís a recent thread that details the efforts to make the TMI fit perfect. If you are a perfectionist look for it. Mine is black and I have lousy night vision so Iím not able to see the minor gaps etc. Mine is unisuede and it would be difficult to peel back the material as he did with the vinyl.

Here is the thread:

I have done both and and you can install a headliner with bows by yourself. You need an extra set of hands to do the TMI (just to hold things so you can bolt it in). The TMI didn't take nearly as long though, way less labor intensive. You also do not need to worry about wrinkles and have more headroom with the TMI.
