Red face My version of a backseat delete

I just wanted to post a few pictures of my project. My rear seat was in bad shape after a few mice made their home in it one winter. The cost to reupholster it etc. was much more than I wanted to spend ! In the last 20 years, I can only remember someone in the rear seat, once !

My project only cost me about $30 for the carpet and spray adhesive. (I already had the plywood etc)

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1

Cool, kinda like a permanent fold down rear seat which is what I have. Perfect for the dog

Re: My version of a backseat delete

That works,looks pretty good.

I've used my rear seat once ,right after I bought the car 4 years ago. I'm 6'4" so the back is pretty useless behind me.
Rear seats been out since I put TMI front seats in a year ago, and I just mini tubbing it this Spring, so I've been contemplating just fishing the back without a seat, as opposed to modifying and rebuilding the never used stock seat.
