Nope.

Just over 9 percent of Camaros came with the A67 Folding Rear Seat in 1967 (17,993 out of 220,906 cars).

Just over 3 percent in 1968 (7,384 out of 235,147 cars).

And under 2 percent in 1969 (4,397 out of 243,085 cars).

Re: fold down rear seat

I claim to have seen 5. I was told the 69 Firebird I saw with it didn't come that way, the owner built the car "his way". One of the others was in a yellow 69 RS, probably a good probability that I've counted that one twice. I think it could be the car I own now that I did a wheel alignment on about two years before I bought it wrecked. I've owned a 69 Camaro since 1973. the current one since 1983.

Have owned 2 myself, both in the 70's. a 69 SS350, and my first 69 Z28. Both black cars too. Both totally destroyed by the next owners.

Re: fold down rear seat

I have my second one right now, on a ragtop! Big junk brought home with seat and top down it's a little pick up truck. Had 3 sets of golf clubs standing up and a large suitcase in the backseat with the top and seat down. Try that with a hardtop with nice upholstery. The cool thing about 67 is says on the trim tag if it was original!! XDL Power Windows, power top, fold down seat!

Nice options! They must have had a new guy punching the t-tags that day, as I don't see a LOS Fisher scheduling code. My 11B LOS rag top has the fold-down as well.

Re: fold down rear seat

I have had one for a 67 with black standard interior on my shelf for at least ten years. Had been meaning to install it in my 67 ragtop. Thought I could install some speakers in the support and fold the seat down for better sound when driving the car with no back seat passengers. Never got around to it - would need to order the brackets and divider. Oh well.

Reminds me of the time I took my 69 to the lumber yard. I put an 8 foot 2 X 6 in the trunk and closed it. The partition was out and it fit thru the horseshoe shifter.

Hi Russ, Schedule code is 11A, hard to read as it is upside down look close at bottom right. I even spun this upside down and then durg it and it is still upside down.
Not sure why?

Re: fold down rear seat

The "L" on the cowl tag would indicate the fold down seat option

Re: fold down rear seat

I have a complete fold down back seat for my 68 Conv ironically in the correct color. Do I need anything other than the complete seat to install instead of my factory bench seat?

Re: fold down rear seat

I have one on my '68 RS vert. I am looking at mounting a small sub woofer behind it.

Yes, you need the latches, brackets, hinges, the partition holder, the partition, bumpers, etc... You'll also need to do some welding. And THIS REFERENCE I made many years ago should help you.

Most of the parts are being reproduced so that shouldn't be a problem. You can find more info on the folding rear seat in the Fisher Body service manual (starting on page 15-40 for 1968).
