Seat Foams - Wire or No Wire?

I posted this in my build thread but didn't get any responses so I thought I would try here as I don't want to purchase something incorrectly so here goes.

I am going with a hybrid interior - standard door panels but with white comfort weave and a one piece headliner. I am going to do the upholstery myself but have a question about foams. Looking at the options from Camaro Central. Can anyone tell me if there is an advantage to purchasing the foams with the wire installed or is it simply not necessary? Here are the links for the two different foams:

Any feedback or direction would be appreciated.

Re: Seat Foams - Wire or No Wire?

Tim, If your seat backs currently have springs, which I would assume you do, you do not
need the foam with the springs. That's how I interpret Camaro Central's ad. You should
however get foam that has wires for attaching the covers listing. TMI has the wires. I
can't speak for any other brand.

Thanks Al. If I understand the information correctly I think it is a listing wire that's embedded but you're probably right - I'll just go with TMI and call it good.

As stated, it's a wire, and not a spring. You don't have to use TMJ to get a quality foam. PUI is a good foam, as well as anything that Legendary sells. Legendary has great YouTube videos on how to do your seats as well . I think those wires also ring to the seat springs , if my memory serves me correctly.
