Original 68 Deluxe seat material.

Anyone aware of any black original 68 deluxe seat pleating material ? I had my drivers seat bottom recovered with a aftermarket cover that looks like garbage. The seams are too wide and the pleating is flat, not puffy like the original. I also would resort to sending the original out to have a 4" and 2" repaired. A company that repairs vinyl I believe could do a great job on the repair. Anyone who has had this type of repair done recommend anyone? Heck....anything has to look better than the aftermarket junk available now. The recovering gives me a chance to get the original repaired. I am almost ready to tear the new garbage off and put the original , tear and all back in ! Any suggestions....

Have you tried SMS in Oregon? I use them for older cars-I never inquired about Camaros .

I tried PUI seat covers and they were garbage. I end up buying from Distinctive Industries - Distinctive Industries and I'm very happy with it

Re: Original 68 Deluxe seat material.

I have looked at a few mfg over the years but can not match the original pleated deluxe seat look. They may be ok if you replace the whole interior but trying to match is hard, not to mention expensive. I bought a seat cover bucket seat cover on Ebay stated to be Legendary sent in a Legendary box. Its junk as you can see in the pics below compaired to the OEM pleating on the deluxe seat.
