Gauge Carrier Mounting

I am looking for any pictures which show the mounting points and/or hardware for the gauge carrier attachment points. I am flying blind as I did not disassemble the original and to add confusion I am using an aftermarket carrier which is missing mounting holes and anchor points. I am particularly interested in the tabs/brackets used to fasten along the top of the carrier. I found these but don't really understand how they are used:

And apparently my carrier also has no "bonded in" mounting points for studs on the right side for mounting to the vertical part of the dash above the center console.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Gauge Carrier Mounting

Find the carrier with matching holes to the ash tray. Always worked for me.
