window plate rollers

Hello I hope this post finds everyone healthy. Since I have a ton of time on my hands I decided to adjust my windows on my 69. I pulled apart the passenger side door and cleaned and greased all the tracks and changed the window plates. I adjusted the window and it works great so now its into the drivers side. I was wondering if there is a place that anyone knows of that just sells the roller with the rivet instead of buying the whole plate assembly for $55. I figured i"D just grind the rivet and press in a new one

Re: window plate rollers

There's been a number of posts on window rollers over the years. Some have used/modified
shower door rollers. Some found the rollers at althafastener.com. Follow these links.

Re: window plate rollers

When installing my aftermarket glass that didn't fit trying to get it adjusted (before I found out the glass was the issue) the rollers were getting in a bind and I popped a couple off. Irritating because you cant just get one plate for the glass they come in pairs. Sucks. The roller on the front plate that slides the rivet popped out of the square slider. I tried to put it back in and even glue it and it didn't hold.
