Best way to Restore Dash for 69 Camaro?

I want to restore the original gauge cluster, the black is worn/faded and the chrome or silver trim is chipped away in areas. I'm unsure what paint or marker to use for the black and for the chrome trim I thought to use a liquid chrome marker I also would like to remove the imitation wood trim and just have as black instead. Anyone have any suggestions or examples?
