69 Driver seat position

Just purchased second 69 and noticed that driver seat does not go back as far as my first one. Examined driver seat tracks and see the Camaro 1 has about 3/4 of an inch in front of track before raised area dips to floor while 2 is almost flush with dip. Did simple measurement from headlight dimmer switches to front left driver track bolt and get a difference of about an inch.
I know for sure that one has the original floor, not sure about second. Before I buy the seat extender, is there any option to seat location? Any idea how the seat tracks could be in a different locations. Thanks

Re: 69 Driver seat position

Easily made to your own position, reasonable price as well. Get the material at Lowes or Home Depot. The 2' steel in the length you want. Drill the holes attach bolts and nuts.

I moved my seat back so my 6’4” would fit better, then I need to move the steering wheel back with an extension so my arms weren’t straight out.
Now I’d like the shifter longer ...
