69 Astro Vent Cable Clamp

It's been a few since I removed the cable, but do remember a clamp to the open and available brackets under the dash. Does anyone have a pic? Thought the screws had large washers on them, or were similar to the screws attaching the upper vent housings to the dash.??

Re: 69 Astro Vent Cable Clamp

Sorry I'm not familiar with the 69 set-up there, Mark. Have you looked in the AIM ? It should show if it was a washer or some special clamp/bracket, etc..

Re: 69 Astro Vent Cable Clamp

Doesn't look right. Look on Sheet A7 UPC C60. You will see a cable assembly and clip that attaches to the Outlet Assembly. Should be two screw holes in that assembly. The Pic you show cuts off the top half of the outlet duct/assembly.
