Does anyone know if there are custom made aftermarket firewalls for first gens?

most any chassis builder sells aluminum kits to do the firewall. they sell them made over-sized so that you have to do the final cutting to fit your wall.
your looking at least a 100.00 dollars plus.
i removed my heater box and filled it in with metal and plastic. it makes a big difference, and seems to give you more room.

How does removing your heater box help???

Just the room or are there other benefits?

The benefits of no heater box is that your seats are more comfortable!


(i have no heater box=wear big jacket in the cool mornings=more padding=comfort)

BTW...doesnt the new Vintage Air package have the fan and core underdash?
