I was just wondering what good price is to ask for a set of 461 double hump heads. These have 1.94 intake valves. I have ran them a couple of years ago with no problems. They have had no porting or polishing. Thanks for any suggestions

If they flux out ok, I'd say $200 to $350...excluding the valve job. Good heads...can easily be opened up to 2.02/1.60 valves. Double humpers are getting harder and harder to find....expecially those with accessory bosses...which I believe the 461's have. My opinion.

Find someone who needs them for numbers matching rides and they will bring the most $$$. With the abundance of good new heads out they aren't getting what they used to get. My guess is $150 range.

Just make sure there is not an X at the end of the 461. The price goes up.

With a good set of aftermarket heads ready to run out of the box the demand has fallin alot for factory hi-perf. heads. The only reason I am going to use 1.94's on my 350 for my camaro is that the engine came with them and all the valves where good.
