ok Im rebuilding my ac unit, got the new Tank, the expansion valve, the screen filter for the 69 Z 28.. Where does the little tiny screen filter go? On which side of the expansion valve, the valve is new, so Im assuming maby there is one in it already..

Also the window where you can look into the ac tank, does the fileter go in there. I have the orings for all the sealed fittings.

Z/28's weren't available with A/C. However, the fine tapered screen goes in the inlet port of the expansion valve (the one closest to the end with the capillary tube and round metal disc in it); there's no filter in the receiver/dehydrator - if you're installing a new one, put an ounce of refrigerant oil in it before connecting the fittings.
