What is the difference between a 1969 302 and 350 cowl induction setups? Are the part numbers different because of different manifold heights? What aftermarket manifolds similar to a performer RPM would be good to go on a 400HP 350 and have functional cowl induction with a 350 or 302 set up?

There are three different air cleaners; L48 manual, L48 automatic (has manifold heat tube neck on snout), and one for everything else (L34/35, L78, Z/28). There are also two different heights of extension rings (one for L48 and one for all others), and two different air cleaner studs that match up with the extension ring usages. You'll have to take some measurements from the top of your carb to a fixed point (like to a piece of wood laid across the fenders) and compare it to some other cars with ZL2 to see which combination will work for you and will actually seal to the hood.
