I am installing a BB heater box kit in my 69 ie. [outer box & heater core] from D&R,inner box is small block. My original heater core clips will not clear heater core tubes on one end ,clip on tank end doesn't have enough room. Do I need a BB inner box or is there more parts thats not in D&Rs kit? Thanks Dave

The inner box is the same. Are you sure you have the correct heater core?

D&R says the heater core is right, seems to me that heater core sets to deep in heater box. Heater tubes only stick thru outer box about 1/4" not enough to put hoses on. D&R tells me there is nothing that goes between back side of core and heater box. Any suggestions????
