Has anyone found a quality clutch rod boot for the firewall that will LAST ? Ive had two reproduction boots that didnt last a week without tearing. I tried to modify the second one by enlarging the hole that the rod goes through. It didnt work. Thanks in advance for your input.

Thumbs up

They seem to last a little longer when packed with a little silicone grease..

I have had good luck with the repros but did have to enlarge the hole so the rod would slide easily. I polished the rod, too, so everything was very smooth. I now have the spherical bushing setup from SpeedDirect. The boot has lasted two years so far.
