my cousin has a 86 IROC, automatic, 350 crate engine, but there is something that im concerend about. when it is neutral and he revs it--even on the most level surface---the car will start to pull when it his like 3500-4000 rpms. is this due to a bad torpue converter? please help

my cousin has a 86 IROC with a 350 crate motor,3.73s, flowmaster, shift kit, automatic--- i just do the research for him.

Sounds like a leak past the manual valve in the trans or maybe the shifter cable isn't adjusted properly.
