I would like some info on the Car Bag. How much does this cost and how does it work? Is it like a big ziplock bag. I am thinking of getting one for my car this winter.

Thumbs up

The address your looking for is
They come in different sizes. I bought one last year for my 69Firebird Conv and it works perfect. It is for inside use only. I store my car in a unheated barn with dirt floor. When I opened it up this spring there was NO rust or dirt and no rodent damage. You put dessicant in when you seal up the bag and it takes out all the moisture therefore no rust, no sweating.
The bag was $229.00 comes with dessicant and worth every penny. The bad side is, once you seal the car, you can't open the bag or you will let in moisture laiden air, and the bag is dark gray, can't see thru it.

My car is in one right now. When I tore up the engine and put a dent in the fender I got pissed and put it in the bag so I didn't have to look at it. I'm getting it back out soon to put it back together. My bag is clear with a PVC pipe frame to hold it up. I think I gave about $260 for mine about 5 years ago. To seal it you just roll up the excess plastic at the end and clamp it together. I was a little disappointed with that part.
