I know of three. My 68 and two 69's. Mine will get some serious attention - body down to bare metal & painted. Then a go thru for the engine and trans.

68 Camaro, 383 small block with TH350 trans. 11.98's at 111mph and never trailered.

Around here 10 first gens, mostly 67s, 2 68s & one 69. Not all in in perfect condition but 8 of them running, 2 lacking registration for this year. One of the 67s a 327/210 hp as a daily driver and another 67 waiting a 454ci to be removed from a suburban to be retrofitted to it with some performance mods. and 2 of them RSs. All this, including mine, in a 3 miles radius. Not bad right?

Our affair with Camaros is a live sentence without the possibility of parole.

Thumbs up

In my area there are 8 69's, mine and another on the same street, and a couple of 68's.

I've seen a nice yellow 68(I think) a few houses down whenever his garage door is open. Never seen it drive till this weekend, he took it out a couple of times. Sounded real good. Revved his engine a little when he went by.

I have a friend with a nice '69, and GeorgeZ28 on this site lives right down the street from me. His '69 Z28 is in very nice shape. Other than these guys, I see some Camaros every now and then at the local cruise-ins, but the owners of those cars come from neighboring counties too.
