sorry to change from camaros, but i really need your help---and fast. i got the 86 chevy clebrity out for the winter (my winter beater). got it to my apartment from my dads house and the damn thing wont start. i know its the starter, but i cant figure out how to change the thing. i am going to get one from Autozone in the morning if someone can help me on what to do and how long it will take to replace. thanks everyone

my cousin has a --- 86 IROC with a 350 crate motor,3.73s, flowmaster, T-tops, shift kit, Holly 650 carb., automatic, 94 Trans Am seats--- i just do the research for him.

the starter is right at the front of the engine, at the bottom. really easy to get at and swap- just unhook the wires going to it, take out the bolts from underneath, and drop it out.put in the new one-replacing any shims that came out-and hook up the wires. half hour if you take your time..
