when switching from computer controlled fuel injection what must you do to keep everything running? does it affect things like power windows, etc?

You need a new dist. because the computer controls when the spark fires so the old one does not have the abilty to run the engine. Youll need to either plumb a mechanical fuel pump or rig the old electric one to work with a carb. Also some cars have the cooling fan run by the computer too so you will need to rig a switch to manually turn it on or run a tempature switch on the engine.

Just get a regulator for the fuel, an HEI distributor for a one wire hookup and your cooling fan if it's the original electric fan is activated by a sensor on the passenger side under the exhaust manifold. I did a similar swap in my 91 RS.

if you have an automatic, you will need some way to lock up the converter, tranny wont downshift (by it'self) either, if you disconnece the copmuter, you will need to do mods to the tranny.
