Question

We were told that the 86 Iroc has a bad fuel pump, thats why its leaking gas. now, if its an intank pump, the reason that its leaking gas should be because of the bad gasket. can somebody shed some light onto this topic for me?

Is this car your cousins 86 Iroc with a holley are you sure the fuel pump is still in the tank? If its the origonal fuel pump in the tank it would be for fuel injected and putting out about 37psi a little much for a holley. But maybe I,m wrong that would make the 2nd time today!!!!!
