Rick,

I know that this isn't on your side of the bay but when I lived in Mt. View I used a shop up in San Mateo called "Al Leist Machine Shop Service Inc." He did some really awesome work for me, his shop is real clean and extremely well organized. He had a dual front engine digger with 2 SBC's that he had fitted with FORD 351 Cleveland heads. He fired it up right there!!

Anyway his address is:
1007 Howard Avenue
San Mateo, CA. 94401

(415) 342-1966 or (415) 343-6196

Give him a call maybe he can help you out.

The best and one of the longest lasting is in Dublin. My best freind built his first engine at 14 years of age and it is still running. He has worked there for 26 years now. Art Knowles

Rick:
Good luck, they will treat you right. If you have a chance Art works in the shop to the right, he is the installer, he has owned his 67 RS/SS 396 for almost 20 years. It is getting a ground up restore at the moment, u can talk Camaros with him.
