Just wondering if there is a difference between A.I.R. coded quadrajets and non-AIR coded q-jets.

Yes, there is a difference not only in the numbers, but in the throttle plate.

What is the difference? Can I use an AIR q-jet on a non-AIR car? Is it just a matter of plugging the AIR port or something?

Thats it. Theres the diverter valve port in the back, and the vacuum port in the front for the diverter.
