Do any of you have any fiber leads that you may want to part out with as a part of a U46 light monitoring system or better yet know of a vendor that sell pieces parts. I have a Vigilite system that I purchased and need two longer lower directional lamp fibers and housing assembly to plug the fiber into.. Any help would be appreciated..

Thumbs up

Kind of haard to find parts, but try on the Chevelle board, thats where I got mine. Also you might try some of the other GM cars that still have them. You might be able to make something work from there.

I can get the fiber optic cables from work up to 8 foot lengths. But I can't help with the other parts. If interested email me at
[email protected]

These cables are black plastic coated..

Light monitoring was also standard equipment in all 1969-1971 Corvettes. Maybe you can adapt parts of a used forward harness from a Corvette for what you need. I'll bet they even used the same type connectors and fibre.

Look on e-bay. I have seen parts for the vigilite system on there from time to time, but not that often. You have to keep checking and usually you will come across what you are looking for.
