A good friend of mine has an oppurtunity to possibly purchase a 69 camaro the has been described to him as an original "RS/SS 396 convertible, 4 speed console with air. Car has never been hit or repainted. Original top. Car has about 35,000 miles on it. Triple blue. Any thoughts on its value?? (Hope to get vin and cowl tag soon).

Seeing how a 69 SS396 auto Convert on ebay that needed a total resto sold for $15,000...

An original, still together, low miles running SS396 4 speed car would fetch $15K to $35K depending on whether it was 35k miles then garaged or 35k miles then parked under a pine tree

You could not get a blue convertible top in 69, it must have been replaced.

Please let us know the condition.

Let me know if your friend is not interested.

Thanks, Kevin

Thanks for the replys so far. I will ask my friend to get more specific info regarding the top. This sale is to settle an estate, and thus far none of the family members have expressed an interest in the car. I'll repost when I have more info.

Thanks again!!
