i have 1:5 rocker arms in my 350 now, i was wondering if i could put 1:6 rocker arms in w/o clearance problems, and anything else i should consider when buying them.

I was thinking of going with the roller tip design, and i have a Comp Cams 270 magnum cam

Pick-up the Feb. 2002 issue of Super Chevy where they show an improvement in in horsepower and torque with aftermarket 1.52 rockers ,but a 40 h.p. loss with 1.6's because the pushrods rubbed the cylinder heads. There have been numerous questions and posts on this lately, so do a search !

There is a drill guide sold by Bill Mitchell, to lengthen the pushrod slot in the head for 1.6 rocker arms. You'll have to remove the guide plates.
