Well, I have decided to have the rear gears changed. Right now, I am running a M21 with 3.73 gears. I am dropping down to 3.42 gears so I can I can drive the car to shows and a cruise-in or two. I really want to attend the Supercar Reunion ( http://www.yenko.net/reunion/2002reunion.htm ). With the 3.73 gears, I'm taching 3,000 rpm @ 60 mph...that gets old after about 1 hour...The local shop charges $200 for the swap. I am hoping the change will make the car more driveable....

Yeah I've got 3.42s in my car(with a th-350)
It would be nice to have 3.73s as I feel the
3.42s are holding back my performance a little. However it cruise so nice I just can't bring myself to make the swap. I'd like
to have a car like yours with 3.73 or 3.90 gears and a five speed. Assuming the five speed would be geared like a four except for
an overdrive fifth. Then you'd have it all.

too bad you guys are a couple thousand miles apart- otherwise you could just swap rears.
