I used the LS7 Clutch on my LS3/525 and loved it. I did upgrade to the Aluminum Flywheel.

Best Kit Deal I found was from Scoggy Dickens Performance. They have it for $499. Add $100 for the Aluminum Flywheel and ARP Bolt option. FREE SHIPPING TOO

x2 for the LS7 clutch. Great deal with good longevity and light pedal feel.

Re: LS7 clutch kit for my LS3 480

Thanks guys, This thread is a year old already LOL. I actually went with the McLeod set-up, I was told that the LS7 GM clutch would NOT be compatible with their (McLeod) Hyd TO bearing. This came straight from the tech guys.

They were wrong about the LS7 clutch and McLeod bearing. Been there done that and it works great.

I actually told them a Friend of mine (you, LOL) was running this same set-up with no issues at all. I was definitely not impressed with the answers I was getting from McLeod Tech, including Billy. This was 3 or 4 calls in to them with the same simple question, "Will the GM LS7 clutch work with your TO bearing".
