LS3 swap in a 67- all good execpt.......

Hi guys-

I have a 68 Camaro and a 67 Firebird- this is the LS3 swap. I have searched and can't find a part number to help. I want to use the factory rally gauges, and I cannot get the temperature sensor to work. We tried 2 and 3-wore. We have an adapter that is metric to fit in the block, but can't find the correct sensor-ugggh. ICT Billet said they have adapters to fit with any temp sending sensor. Can anyone help me with a part number? I don't want to tap into water pump or re-drill head.

Thanks!!

NPT tap to the size you need ?

But I used Autometer gauges.

68 Camaro~LSx ~all motor
1.54 60'--6.95 @ 98.45 660'--10.96 @ 121.53

Re: LS3 swap in a 67- all good execpt.......

If the original sender is 3/8 npt, you might be able to plumb it into one of the radiator hoses like this- Inline Fill Adapter with 3/8 Inch NPT Fitting

Otherwise drilling and tapping the head or water hose might be you only other options.
