DBW bracket install

I have the DBW pedal installed. Turns out the stock bracket that comes with the pedal is not that bad after all.

Looks good. I bought the Ironworks bracket but after some mock up I think your solution is a lot better.

I was going to purchase the Ironworks bracket until I saw Johns picture of it and you have to use the master cylinder bolts to attach it to. The stock bracket turned out very good. 3/4 inch spacer on the left bolt, 1 1/4 inch spacer on top right bolt and I welded up a little fab piece for the lower right mounting bolt.

Re: DBW bracket install

I bought the Street Machine bracket on eBay.

Looks like it's going to work well. Only $25

Re: DBW bracket install

How much pedal travel is needed ?? Anyone have any idea? Just curious. I'm 3 inches from the floor.

Travel is only about a 1"-1 1/2"

Re: DBW bracket install

It worked well on Steve's car. There is one existing hole the you can open up and use for the bottom hole on the bracket then drill 2 holes and bolt thru the firewall.
