GMPP harness connector removal

How did you guys remove the pedal and OBD connectors to install them through the original gas pedal hole in FW. ?? Standard pics or special GM tool ??

I bought a special pic and it broke the first time I used it. Now I use a small jewelers type screw driver.

The OBD will fit without removing the wires. Take the cover off and put it through 1st. I take a picture of the pedal wires before I remove them to help remind me of they way they go.
