GMPP Bulkhead Connector

Hey guys, I was just sorting out some wiring with my new GMPP harness. Does the bulkhead connector get plugged in anywhere or do you simply tap off of it ?? Is there another male connector I need for it ?? Thanks.

Re: GMPP Bulkhead Connector

If your talking about the connector that seems to have no purpose and just kinda hangs out there, here's what it's for.

IIRC it has things like CANBUS and speed output, tach, etc. the other side of the harness is actually attached. I remember having to get pins to wire some of my accessories in.

So no, it does not plug in anywhere.

It connects with the trans controller if you are running an automatic trans.

Re: GMPP Bulkhead Connector

You can pick up OP, tach, VSS and other ECU outputs fron the bulkhead connector.

All info is clear in the paperwork that cones with the GMPP harness

Re: GMPP Bulkhead Connector

And it may already come with the mating connector half, it was unclear when I was first studying mine that it was, in fact, both halves of the connector provided.

Yes it already has the mating connector. You need to provide and install the pins.

Or you can cut it off and just connect the required wires if you don't want to deal with installing the pins.
