New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

Installed this in the LS3 in my Chevelle a few days ago.

Very nice and compact.

The water pump casting is also the mount for the PS, Alt and Comp. No brackets

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

I really like that. I wish they had come out with that a couple years ago. Now if someone would come out with a mount for a 1st gen LS that allows you to have a/c, PS, and a procharger.

I have one in the box going in my car in the next couple of weeks. John, any issues with installation? Looks pretty straight forward. Did the kit come with 4 awg wiring for the alternator?

Came with the pigtail for the Alt.

Easy install no issues. The PS pump reservoir return nipple is close to my steering box on the Chevelle ( will work ok). The Chevelle is a front steer so the box is further forward than on a Camaro.

You'll need the correct tools to pull and install the balancer and PS pulley

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

John, I really like that as well... If I understand correctly, it's a NEW water pump with all the brackets 'built in'?? or ?? Can you provide Holley PN and cost?

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

Nice and compact set-up! Would suck if you had a defective water pump out of the box tho.

The water pump impeller mounts to the casting as a separate part and easy to change.

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

I was wondering about that as well.

I think I'd buy a spare rebuild kit to have on hand just in case as this won't be a parts store purchase later.

Sold:
1968 Base hardtop 250 with a P̶G̶ built 2004r
Offy intake
Holley 390 CFM carb
Langdon split header to a 2.5" exhaust
Mild cam

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

Has anyone used this in a 69 ls3 swap yet? Slickest setup I've run across.

Re: New Holley Mid Mount Accessory Drive

Yes it has been used in a 69. A buddy of mine in Kentucky had his 69 used as a test mule for the system. It fits really well!

Man, That is super nice. Pushes me a little closer to the LS swap edge.
