T56 VSS to PCM and speedo

So my VSS in my T56 is run to my PCM. I have a plug at the trans to also run the VSS to my Autometer gauge but I obviously cant connect them both at the same time so I currently don't have a functioning speedo. How have you guys corrected this? Is the a Y splitter to run both or do I spice???

Thanks much.

Doesnít your PCM have a speedo output? What one are you using?

Some do. If you donít you will have to try to tap into the one on the transmission without messing up the signal to the ECM. Either that or a GPS speedo...

Is your harness an aftermarket one or a reworked factory one?

Sorry for the late reply. My harness is an aftermarket from BP automotive. I contacted them and found out that there will be a green and white wire to connect to the speedo. Now I just gotta find it in a finished/complete car. Uugh

Bummer. If it is any consolation, your car is never "finished/complete".

Re: T56 VSS to PCM and speedo

You can easily run the speedo with GPS.
