69 camaro l99/6l80 swap ECM

Im a bit confused on what ECM do i need and if i also need as my harness has 4 large plugs i know one is for the fuse block but are the other 3 for the ecm? The engine came out of a 2012 camaro the owner did not want to sell the ecm.

I also recently bought a corvette ETC pedal out of a c6 corvette dbw do i need a special harness to make it all work once i have the harness redone?

Sorry im getting ready to purchase some addtl items and want to make sure i am buying the right stuff.

Re: 69 camaro l99/6l80 swap ECM

I would go with aftermarket harness and ECM from PSI or another similar company. The ECM needs to be set up for auto transmission.

Or you could go with a GMPP LS3 harness and ECM. The harness may have to be re pinned for the corvette pedal. The GMPP comes with a Cadillac pedal

Hey Don that link you provided shows a 3 connector ecm but when i look at the l99 harness just the harness it shows a 2 connectors only. Then when i look at the L99 (58X) ENGINE CONTROLLER KIT WITH 6L80E/6L90E it also shows 2 connectors on the ECM and 2 connectors on the harness. Am i missing something here.

Or should i be looking at an LS3 harness vs. L99.

I will be doing a dod delete and cam swap hopefully later on this year, as of right now i am finishing the floor mods, got the headers, finished fabricating the trans crossmember and are also mocking up the 5th gen console.

Next is trying to possibly reuse 5th gen radiator and hoses, getting a lokar sports mode shifter and possibly harness and ecm.

Sorry I read L99 as LSA. Just ignore me and listen to John.
