LS3 controller

Hey guys i have been spending the better part of my evening finding ways to save money.
So i decided to look up the individual parts that make up the LS3 controller

I have sourced each part minus the acc pedal(i have that already)

Can someone look over what i have found to make sure it is a wise decision?

LS3 controller kit msrp $1330-$1500

Individual parts lookup $849.92

I looked these up for a 2015 camaro SS

Thanks guys as always !

Re: LS3 controller

The harness is a replacement harness for a new Camaro. I donít believe it has the fuse box and relays that come with the GMPP harness. I also doubt it comes with the relays for the fuel pump and ignition or designed with control. Missing would also be the wiring for the tach, speedo OP and Temp gauges.

It is not a Stand Alone harness. Also a good chance the harness runs for the ECU connector are lot long enough to reach wherever the ECU will be mounted. May not has lead for VSS connection to tranny.

The GMPP harness also has an addition bulkhead connector that is very useful when doing LS swap. Canít tell if it has the plug for the pedal as these connections may be interlaced with other wiring harnesses.

Buy the time you Modify the harness to add the things you need it probably wonít be worth the time and effort.

You may be able to buy a GMPP harness without the peak and ECU. Used ECUs can be bought for $100-150 easy.

You can also buy a harness from a company like PSI

Re: LS3 controller

For a crate engine I like GMPP because you donít need tuning which costs 4-600

For a built engine like the LS7 I did I like PSI. Comes with a base tune and I have to tune anyway

Re: LS3 controller

Iíve been happy with Jon at PSI. Never used Speartech however I believe they are pretty good. I tend to stick with what I know works. PSI 2 times and GMPP with crates 6 or 7 builds

Re: LS3 controller

We sell PSI most commonly. We typically do their PCM as well. It is only $50 more than them flashing yours and you will spend almost that much in shipping it both ways.

We offer a good discount on their kits and free ship them as well.

We also offer the FiTech kit which many auto trans guys run due to the VERY good cost on the whole setup!

Feel free to contact me for details and prices on any setup.

Re: LS3 controller

Another option now is the Holley TerminatorX (with and without trans control) that just came out.

Of course give Matt and Kim a call at MCB when you are ready to order!

YES! We have sold a few so far. Most are talking with Holley to ensure they are getting the right pieces and sending us their list. We beat all the big box stores and free ship 99.9% of it as well!
