Can I use existing radiator for LS swap?

During my restoration of my 68 convertible, I installed a new 3 row aluminum radiator. Can I still use it and just convert to electric fans?
Also, Can I use the new standard fuel tank as well? Or do I need to get a fuel injection tank?
Thanks!

Tony

Re: Can I use existing radiator for LS swap?

You can use the radiator will have to figure hoses routings and provisions for the steam line.

Tank will work with a Holley Drop is fuel module or you can use an external pump with a 2 line sending unit so you have a return line.

Doug,
How did you configure your steam line?

You can tap the suction side of the WP for the steam line.

Re: Can I use existing radiator for LS swap?

The steam vent line can go to the radiator if there is a fitting for it on the radiator. The line can go the water pump. You will have to drill and tap the water pump on the return side. The last way is to plumb it to the top radiator hose.

LS Steam Vent - C&R Racing steam vent kit - Hot Rod Regal

Don't plug the line.

Re: Can I use existing radiator for LS swap?

I really like how Brent plumbed his. Simple and eliminates any need for the aftermarket kits which, in my opinion, are stupid expensive.

I've read Brent's posts many times and gained many ideas from them. I highly recommend visiting his build and reading through.

As said above....I drilled and tapped the gooseneck (T-stat housing) and installed a hose barb....worked fine.

OR you can go here to buy a fitting to go in the top hose to connect it. https://jagsthatrun.com/collections/...11591436566571
