The age differences are pretty well illustrated. The big thing that folks don't (IMHO) appreciate is that an LS will happily motor on down the road at 1,400 RPM (or less); SBC or BBC not so much. That makes taking advantage of an overdrive transmission much more realistic.

I realize that this is a humor thread, but the differences are real.

Mike - '68 Camaro - aftermarket or modern pretty much everything.
