I have an 1988 camaro with a 305 motor. It has a fuel-injected throttle body and would like to convert to a carborator. I would like to know how and what to change to acheive this.

Just my opinion but with all thats available for after market TB engines, I'd change my mind.

I agree.

With the 305, swapping to a carb would probably result in less power, less gas mileage, reduced driveability, and less throttle response.

the reason i asked about converting is most of the wires have been cut to all the sensors. Motor has ben changed from a 1988 to a 1992, wiring harnesses r different. It runs but without th sensors will it burn up the motor? Does anyone have another solution to this other than to convert from fuel injected TB to carborated.

why not just get the proper wiring harness from a donor car in the boneyard?

TBs are pretty simple and don't have a lot of sensors. At that age, it should be reasonable to get what you need from a junk yard
