I have a Edelbrock 1406 with a RPM AirGap
intake, I am having trouble attaching the throttle cable to the carb, does anybody have pics or diagrams on how to attach it correctly.

What car are we talking about? My 68 uses a throttle rod and they make a Mr. Gasket kit the fits right in the the big round opening on the linkage and use hook up to that then adjust the rod. If using a cable, got to a parts store that carries Edelbrock products anf the should have all the adapters you need. I ahve put one setup for with Ford linkage on a Buick before, worked great.

6 cylinder cars used a throttle cable. All production V-8s used a throttle rod. The dealer optioned 2x4 bbl cross-ram intake on '69 Z-28s also used a throttle cable.

I am working a solution using a rod, not cables yet, for the 67.

I agree, we need to know what year you are working on.
