I installed a new radiator (factory style) last summer in my 69z/28. Since then the also new well nuts havebeen replaced twice. Whats the secret to installing them?

Are you talking about the rubber ones? They can't be overtightened or they will pull through the support hole ( how do I know). I found that I only make them snug and they've held for 2 years so far.
